Do You Follow Me?

Last night I was playing around on my blog (yes, I promise someday really soon to update all of my outdated book lists and other odd garbage that's on the right side of the page). But......imagine my complete surprise (horror? no, surprise) when I saw I had 199 blog posts. So if  you're unlike me and can follow that intricate of math, that means this post you're reading right this very second is the big 2-0-0!!!!!!!!!!!! Aren't you excited? 200 times I've made you laugh. 200 times I've been horribly rude and insensitive. 200 times I've been a lackadaisical mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister. 200 times I've posted about a critter. 200 times you've wondered how many times I'll swear. It's abso-frickin-monumental is what it is. 

So, for my 200th blog birthday, I would like to see more followers! Why are you all not following me? I know you don't have a bunch of other blogs to follow instead. My friends don't cook or clean their houses regularly or need inspirational stories. I don't ask for much from my readers. I don't clutter my blog with ads to try and make pennies every time someone peeks. I don't require you to "like" all of my blog posts - even though you know I know you do. You really, REALLY like me! So if I can think of 200 witty topics to keep you coming back to read them, I don't think I'm asking too much from you for a little commitment on your part by being a follower. COME ON! I have 12! Do you realize how sad that is? I have 12 little followers. ONE of those followers isn't even alive anymore (but I keep her because she was an amazing friend and I'd be sad without her name there.) Now, if you're one of those 12, you are a rock star and I mean no disrespect. You 12 will always be mommy's favorites. But for the rest of you, just FOLLOW me already. Follow, follow, follow. Help the Queen get all the royal subjects she can possibly get. Just look to the right and see those 12 pictures? Above it says "join this site." I know you already have Google. You wouldn't even be on the Internet if you didn't. There really is no excuse. 

I have great plans in store for my next 200 blog posts. Big, BIG plans. HUGE! So wouldn't  it be wayyyyy easier to be one of my minions and get notification of new posts rather than having to wait for me to remind you to go take a looksie? Please do me a solid and FOLLOW MY BLOG!

Thanks for putting up with me for 200 posts, and I hope you all are looking forward to the next 200 as much as I am.
