All Alpacas, All The Time

Yes, it's those damn alpacas again. I am soooooo intrigued and just want to know what I can do with one and can I even have one? I know we have too many pets, but would anyone really let that deter them from the ultimate pet, The One, the alpaca?????

The alpaca farm is on the way to my son's school and on good days I can see them out playing. Maybe this is how some kids grew up wishing for ponies and stupid shit like that. Not me. I never wanted anything from a farm, probably because we didn't have animal farms growing up in Arizona, just saguaro farms, and technically that was really just the desert.

I have friended them (the alpaca farm, not the desert) in the sneaky hopes that I can learn more about getting myself an alpaca. They have a boutique, but I have yet to go visit because:
1. I'm afraid it's just going to be alpaca paraphernalia and not really any alpacas for sale, like how we'd go to Trails as kids 'cuz even though we didn't SEE any marijuana, we knew everyone in that shop was up to no good and we wanted just a glimpse of the wild life.
2. I'm afraid they WILL have them for sale and then I'll buy one. I'm not sure how that particular scenario plays out, but I'm about 99% certain it doesn't end well for me (and by extension, probably not so fantastic for the alpaca). Plus, I don't know what they cost but it's probably gonna be more than the very limited funds I currently possess, and then does that mean they'd repossess my precious alpaca?

Asuming the miniature animal zoo never quite works out, I still hold out hope that I can have an alpaca. I think he would enjoy playing soccer with the kids and he would probably want us to ride him around the neighborhood to show himself off in suburbia. (I picture them as quite pleased and proud of themselves.)
